Council Member Zo Qadri — District 9

**Zo Qadri** is the Austin City Council Member for District 9 (Downtown Austin) — **the district that contains Capital Factory**. He studied biology at UT Austin and is the first South Asian member of Austin City Council. He chairs the Economic Opportunity Committee and has been one of the most active council members on downtown economic development, housing density, and cultural preservation.
