Travis County Judge Andy Brown

**Andy Brown** is the Travis County Judge (Elected in 2022, took office January 2023), presiding over the Travis County Commissioners Court — the governing body that manages a roughly $2 billion county budget. He holds a BA from Colorado College and a JD from the University of Texas School of Law. Born and raised in Austin (McCallum High School), Brown is a genuine Austin native — not a transplant — which gives him deep roots in the community.
