Council Member Vanessa Fuentes — District 2

**Vanessa Fuentes** is the Austin City Council Member for District 2 (Southeast Austin) and serves as Mayor Pro Tem for 2025. She holds a BS from UT Austin and an Executive Master of Public Leadership (EMPL) from the LBJ School of Public Affairs. She chairs the Public Health Committee and has made health equity and displacement prevention the centerpieces of her council work.
