Yann LeCun / AMI Labs — AI Researcher

**Yann LeCun** is the founder and chairman of **AMI Labs** (Advanced Machine Intelligence), a $3.5B startup building next-generation AI systems based on world models. He is a Professor at **New York University**, winner of the **2018 Turing Award** (shared with Hinton and Bengio), and the inventor of **convolutional neural networks (CNNs)** — the architecture that powers virtually all computer vision. He did his postdoc under Geoffrey Hinton at the University of Toronto and spent a decade at AT&T Bell Labs before joining NYU and later Facebook/Meta.
