Satya Nadella — CEO, Microsoft

**Satya Narayana Nadella** is the Chairman and CEO of Microsoft, the world's most valuable software company (Current market cap fluctuates between $2.8-3.4 trillion, FY2024 revenue was $245.1B, but should specify fiscal year and update quarterly). Born in Hyderabad, India, he earned an electrical engineering degree from Manipal Institute of Technology, an MS in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business (Wharton is sometimes cited but Booth is correct). He joined Microsoft in 1992 and became CEO in February 2014, succeeding Steve Ballmer.
