**Jay Hartzell** is the President of **The University of Texas at Austin**, one of the largest and most research-productive universities in the world with 52,000+ students, a $4.5B+ annual budget, and a research expenditure exceeding $900 million. He became the 30th president in 2020 after serving as Dean of the McCombs School of Business for 4 years. He is a UT Austin alumnus (BBA and PhD in Finance from McCombs) and has been on the UT faculty since 2001.
