**Richard "Rick" Pemberton, CFA** is a Managing Director at a $5B fund-of-funds platform that allocates to venture capital, growth equity, and buyout funds globally. Based in New York, he has 20 years of experience evaluating GP (General Partner) teams, with a portfolio spanning 120+ fund commitments across vintages. He holds a BA in Economics from Williams College and an MBA from Wharton, plus the CFA charter. Previously, he was a VC associate before moving to the LP side, giving him both operator and allocator perspective.
