**Dario Amodei** is the co-founder and CEO of **Anthropic**, the AI safety company that builds Claude. He holds a PhD in computational neuroscience from **Princeton** and an undergraduate degree in physics from **Stanford**. Before founding Anthropic, he was VP of Research at OpenAI, where he co-invented **Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF)** — the technique that made ChatGPT possible — and led the GPT-2 and GPT-3 research efforts.
