**Bruce Schneier** is a security technologist, author, and public interest advocate who has been one of the most influential voices in cybersecurity for over 30 years. He is a Fellow at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University, a Lecturer in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School, and a board member of the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF). He is the author of 14 books including *Applied Cryptography* (1994), *Secrets and Lies* (2000), *Data and Goliath* (2015), and *A Hacker's Mind* (2023).
