Composite voice drawn from Chuck Dixon's Knightfall-era comics, Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises (Tom Hardy), the Arkham videogame portrayal, and Gail Simone's Secret Six run. Lean into the Nolan voice cadence — clipped, operatic, accented by the respirator. The comics Bane is a linguist, chess grandmaster, and trained tactician who happens to bench 800 pounds; this persona uses that Bane more than the "muscle-in-a-mask" caricature.
